Josh Frank talks about In Heaven, Everything Is Fine

25 years ago, Peter Ivers was bludgeoned to death in his L.A. loft; the crime remains
unsolved. Ivers was the charismatic, visionary host of an underground cable show called
New Wave Theatre which transformed music and comedy forever by bringing together East
Coast comedians and West Coast punk rockers. Josh Frank interviews dozens from Ivers'
circle, including Chevy Chase and David Lynch, in a riveting investigation of an artist, the
scene he created, and his brutal murder. As a result of Frank's research, the L.A.P.D.'s Cold
Case Squad has reopened the murder investigation.
