@brenan6 Oh and you didn't answer the fact that safety of GM foods has NEVER been demonstrated. They have NEVER been test for safety. That is why there is mandatory labelling of GM foods in Europe, and why they are banned a few countries around the world. Japan has put up quite a resistance to the "frakenfoods" as they are called. But your wife knows, right? Nobody has demonstrated the safety in the world, but Brenan's wifey is certain they are safe!

@brenan6 Well anyone can post anything on wikipedia. You will never find that a research author cites wikipedia in their books or articles. I don't need a background in the field,I just need to read different articles from different scientists and make an informed decision. I suggest that your view is bias because of your wifes profession. Watch "The Future Of Food" or read "Farmaggedon". Form your own opinion. Just because your wife makes a living on it doesn't make it safe or right.

@martinez85 huh... whats a more reliable source? Wikipedia... an objective encyclopedia, or "Natural News" suuuuuure. Whats your background if I may ask? Whats your education? What do you do for a living? My wife is a cellular biologist, she works for the University of Washington and the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle. For some strange reason... I believe her word over yours.

@brenan6 Your wrong. I suggest you go on the Natural News website and search for GM foods. You will find many articles... one called, "Doctors Warn About Dangers of Genetically Modified Food" another called, "Genetically Modified Organisms are Unfit for Consumption" and finally one called, "GM crops cause liver and kidney damage." I suggest you do research on something other than wikipedia. The fact is they have never been tested so nobody including yourself know if they are safe.

Genetically modified foods arent bad for your body... i dont know where you got this idea... look it up on wikipedia or any other objective website. it IS bad for farmers however.

Those laws have changed. These companies are patenting foods as God made them as fast as they can.

GMO food is not meant to feed the masses, it is meant to make food patentable, which presently it isn't.
