Here's some footage of me at the AX Idol 2009 tryouts. Here I am doing a piece from GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka, and of course, I'm doing the character Eikichi Onizuka. This is from Episode 1 where he hangs three students that attempted to blackmail him, above the lake of Inokashira Park, upside down. Despite my efforts, I didn't see myself to finals, and I can see why. I kinda came off as cocky, when it wasn't really intended. The way I responded to Derek Stephen Prince's "wow" was meant as "I know, huh? I'm that crazy!". I really wasn't meaning to say "I know, huh? I got this!". So my apologies folks! And according to Kari Wahlgren, I spoke away from the mic at some point. I was bummed for a while about my loss. But it's all good now.
Below are two links to my second stab at AX Idol 2010. My new monologue for the preliminaries, as well as my performance in finals. I followed Derek Stephen Prince's advice on imagining somebody that I really hate (which I did. Won't say who it is! =p), and followed Kari Wahlgren's advice on staying on-mic no matter how "crazy" I go while in character. And needless to say, the results were good.

Thanks to Kimlinh Tran aka Hnilmik for sending me the clip. Much appreciated! Also congrats to Sean Chiplock aka SonicMega on his victory as this years AX Idol voice acting champion that time.

@thelovebat Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Though not to sound egotistical. But I have improved since that time. Looking back at this, I now understand what not to do next time.

This was a brilliant performance.
I totally understand what they were saying about staying on line with the mic thing, sometimes when I get physically involved doing a crazy character I have to realize that if I don't stay in the same proximity of the mic as when I started the take then it won't catch the sound quite as good, which can ruin a great take.
