  • I got most of it but just a question - the fluminate on the nipple, does it last for many shots or do you have to put a new piece of it on the nipple after every shot? If it lasts, how many shots can you fire with it?

  • I love the percussion cap lock system. It should be stressed that the only reason it didn't last very long was because percussion caps led quickly to the modern cartridges that we know and love today.

  • @sloppyj0ey lincon did send person over to buy weapons from the british and europe.

  • nipple cock and pull in the same sentence lol

  • Nipple......... *giggle*

  • @MrBagginsEsq they wanted a very reliable meathod of ignition and puting a obstruction between the powder and the sorce of ignition can decres its reliability.

  • What I don't get is after the invention of percussion, why didn't they just keep the ball an powder in the cardrige and ram it down?

  • You can see that this gun is more powerful than the older ones, because it´s shorter.

  • how do you spell phomentate?

  • @8000jk i doubt it would be because he said it was a british rifle but i'm not entirely sure
