this is the DAN COATES version of the canon.

it's one of my favourite songs and it has sentimental value to me because it was the last song i played for my piano teacher before i quit learning it.

the tempo's a little off sometimes because i try to slow myself down. i have a tendency to rush through songs especially when i'm on crescendo. but otherwise, i hope it's fine.

(yes my piano is out of tune, as some of you have pointed out.)

NOTE: i memorised the song five years ago and now i don't have the sheet music anymore. my piano teacher gave it to me so i don't know if it's available online but you can try searching for it on google =]

  • Oh my goodnes. I have this very same arrangement. But I have a question for you. Is it hard to play because my piano instructor said it's not a good arrangement because of the left hand fingering and moving up and down so much she said it really hurts your hands...is this true because if it isn't I would like to learn to play it because it is really very beautiful. Please comment back. ~Skyler♥ =]

  • hi there... i think the left hand fingering is fine? in fact, besides the part where the melody is played by the left hand, i should think the score is pretty normal :) and as with neogeo328, i think maybe it hurts if you have small hands?

  • 1:55 shit got serious.

  • @SkyBabe103 Hi, does anyone have the sheet music for this? I only have Alfred's Adult Beginners version and wanted to try this one!

    Thank you!

  • Mines arrangement is exactly the same. I have to this my evaulation at piano today, so wish me luck! ;)

  • I want to learn how to play that

  • @xxxBlazeDonutsxxx give me your email by pming me I will give you this version. I have the sheet music. but make sure you have adobe reader. its in pdf. :D

  • @Angel0826526 What SkyBabe103's instructor told him might not be wrong for SkyBabe. Its good that you can play it perfectly but remember that not all people are born the same some people like my cousin has really small hands so playing some pieces will be extremely hard due to fingering and the need to stretch in order to play a chord. Even though my hands are big I someimtes have trouble playing this certain song which is quite hard because it needs you to strecth beyond an octave.

  • @SkyBabe103 I am 11 yrs old... What your instructor told you is a lie. why i say so is bcuz i can play the left hand perfectly- up and down- my hand doesn't hurt. so he/she should get his facts straight. it is a very nice piece.

Mr. Pachelbel did a very good job in composing this song. :D

  • i have the same arrangement..and i find this version the best...it's not so hurting...

  • @Ir0nman86 Thanks :D
