It's amazing that the Vietnamese people don't hold the war against us. There's something there for us to learn about tolerance for others and just maybe compassion. They say that the US is the best country in the world, but there are many others who are head and shoulders above us in the acceptance and compassion departments.

The wreckage is on the grounds of the B-52 museum in Hanoi. It's about a 5 minute moto ride from the Ho Chi Mihn museum. I was really surprised when I saw it for the first time! I thought my guide was taking me to a lake in Hanoi that contains wreckage from another downed B-52 (wing strut, landing wheel, etc.). It's a very eerie feeling. The aircraft is so big. Also, I couldn't help but think of the seven man crew that manned her. Obviously they all died when the B-52 was shot down...
