Once again I am in awe of the power of the internet, not only did I get to experience the music, I felt a connection to the times, yep, hippie time...flower child..woodstock... great rememberance of that era of life, you are right Jaye, she will forever live on through the times and the music
Is that macguinn at 1:16?? those greasers called him hippie, but I woulda laughed being a young greaser way back....roger looks like he had a suasage rammed up his tuckas!
@mcnowski It was a PBS videotaped broadcast. Yep...PBS actually showed things like this at one time. Now they have things like Andre Rieur and horrible 1950's groups getting together to sing one or two songs each. The fillmore program used the norm for PBS back then...now look what broadcast.....Sad.
JO BAKER - Rock my soul baby! Thank you for the precious gift of art from your lifetime . Loved ya dearly. This was the best band Elvin Bishop put together in my books. Everyone kept leaving out the phenomenol KIP MAERKLINE on BASS GUITAR. He was a serious influence on my rock/blues bass education.
this was balls to the wall west coast come to N.Y....I miss Jo Baker...she rocked and she wailed. this band cooked. period. love Bruce who grew up on the left coast. they came to my high school. It never got any better.
