I think this is the coolest video I've ever seen.

@wedgehed Where are you, man? This video sold me on Rondo's guitars. Your video is a fantastic example of you tube noir!

Awesome tone, and way cool taking a drag off the cigarette before playing. You got some serious Mojo man! THX!

I think this guy is "The Continental!"

Wow that's smooth as silk. Your video was one reason I had to get an SJM. I got an SJM-57 on ebay for $97. Awesome P90 tone for under a hundred bucks! They don't make these anymore. Well they do, but the new headstock is ugly and they now call it "SX Liquid".
But the SJM 62s and 57s are history. Anyway, your video Rocks, don't ever take it down!

You are just Flat Out Cool..You should Be the poster Guy for these SX SJM-62.. You make me want one !!
Got my SJM yesterday and I love it. It's a lot heavier and well-built than I was expecting and the P-90's sound great. The bridge saddles and trem aren't as useless as everyone makes them out to be. My only complaint is the knob on the 3 way switch wasn't threaded at all and actually fell off... but that was easy enough to fix with some masking tape. Well worth the $150. I'd buy SX over Squier any day of the week.

I'm glad to hear you got a good one. This is the only SX I've owned, so I can't comment on their other models. I do have a couple of Squiers though - a HH Strat & a Vintage Modified Thinline Tele. They're both keepers.

I have a quick question, Weghed...
I've heard the hardware on this guitar is cheap, esp. the tuners. Can you comment on this? I ordered one today, but I'm a little after reading a few reviews I missed beforehand.

I don't have any complaints about them. They do the job they're supposed to do. My only problem with the guitar was doing the initial set-up to make it playable.
I hope you will comment again when you receive yours. Let us know how you like it.

Hi Wedgehed, Can't stop watching this video! Such a wonderful, rich sound. May I ask what amp/effects you are using? Such a good sound. You have great technique.
Thanks

I used the Fender Twin emulation on my BOSS GT-8. The only effects used were delay & reverb. The GT-8 was run thru a mixer along with the Yamaha PSR-530 keyboard that I used for the backing track. The mixer outputs went straight to the audio inputs of my VCR. I used my digital camera to capture the image. Thank you for the kind words. :)
