@Sharyl2011 uhhmmm No atmosphere to hold air in, so no air.... because all the componets of air (CO2, O2 & N2) are made by biological life forms. There is no life on the moon, and therefore none of these gasses. Also our moon does not have an active geology which could supply new gases. On Earth, plants produce oxygen as byproducts of photosynthesis which is why we have air. You CAN extract oxygen from lunar rocks like Ilmenite if you have chemicals or blast it with heat.. wind on the moon.NO?

@Soukachi There is gravity on the moon, its just 10 times lighter than it is on earth than on the moon.

if there were no gravity, then if the astronauts jumped up, they would continue on floating rather then landing down after like 20seconds.
