@TheBigBADaZz not just any singularity but rather our big bang...This machine is measuring the explosion @ planck space or epoch which is that time zero to10, to the -43 seconds after our big bang.

@TheBigBADaZz yes however Planck epoch refers to the period just after a singularity from zero to approximately 10−43 seconds thats what this machine is measuring? awesome stuff so glad to be alive to understand something so big:)

@benjaminjean1984 I might be wrong but from what i know the concept of a singularity is that it tends to go infinitely small like a mathematical point.In the case of black hole with infinite gravitational pull in the singularity.While "planck space" is limited in size for normal regions and normal phenomenons of space,in extreme objects like black holes in think it differs(they change matter,space,time drastically).Again i might be wrong but thats what i know on the issue.

@fordwel5 I think "planck space" refers to the smallest unit of space that is physically possible.
