BigMac, the severely abused and scared to death Chihuahua puppy, has snapped back into his natural puppy behavior. Here he is playing with my other also rescued Chihuahua Doogle Duck, and my 2 Great Danes Olliver and Olivia.
BigMac still has a couple of issues which we are working on. He screams if he's touched unexpectedly on his back and he panics if he's being picked up and held.
As tiny and cute as he is, that's what he will have to deal with in his future...people will want to pick him up and hold him. If he wiggles like a fish, as he does now, and screams, he's most likely going to be dropped and gets hurt or even killed this way.
So before he can be adopted out into a new home, he needs to be comfortable with being picked up and held. And then there are the house breaking issues, but I spare ya'll the details!

Great progress! How long was it from your first video where he was so fearful? I helped rehab a fearful young adult female dog, even before I knew much about CM. I just instinctively knew that I should not feel sorry for her and I just slowly built up a bond of trust and I socialized her in various situations,

@CMIRA Some say that animal abuse is a diagnosed disease, people that are obsessed with controlling something. And since animals can't say 'STOP IT OR I CALL THE POLICE" they are the most common victims :(

What a great video. They are so cute. BigMac has come a long way. Thank you for trying to help BigMac. He has good socializations skills now. Helping helpless animals is so rewarding. Thank you for helping these animals.

@TheNubian1985 Yes, Big Mac, the brown Chihuahua got adopted a few days after this video was taken. Doogle, the white Chihuaua stayed with me and turned into a therapy dog to take into nursing homes :).
