If the pool is completely green to where you can't see 2 feet down, i recommend the Green to Blue kit at Walmart. It's only $15 and it really works. I couldn't believe it.

I bought my pool vac on ebay for $45 which included shipping. Its called the "Skooba Vac". It works excellent. I highly recommend this type of vac. I wouldn't bother trying one that hooks up to the garden hose. Hope it all works out for ya. Thanks.
