Spainsh acro ace Felix Rodriguez attempts to beat the paragliding 'infinite tumble' world record high above the Lake District. Felix was performing at the Lakes Charity Classic the local paragliding club the 'Cumbria Soaring Clubs' annual flying festival which raised over £3000 for charity. All this was made possible by the generous support of Mark Weir and his gazelle helicopter.

why was Mark fined for this? is it not legal to take your chopper upto 10000 feet? or what was it for? Mark was a legend and he would go to any extent to help people/charities... have the pleasure of meeting Mark in 2010 March.....

@satyagandhi because some sad, jealous,bitter person went to the trouble of writing a formal letter of complaint to the CAA as we did not have the neccesary paper work to drop a person from the helecopter. However the fine Mark received from the lcoal Magistrates was about 2hrs fuel cost for the chopper ;O)
