3rd grade students at Edison Environmental Science Academy in Kalamazoo, MI USA created a living history museum. Watch them as they research, write, and ultimately assume the role of the historic person they researched.
As part of ongoing professional development, teachers received training in the rigor and relevance framework by Dr. William Daggett. Teachers were asked to create a Quadrant D lesson that exemplifies rigor and relevance. This museum project was the idea of Mrs. Owen.
