This song hits close to home, I have been addicted to meth, heroin, and coke for about 7 years now with a couple breaks in between, started out smoking then moved to slammin, I now have 8 months clean and that's the longest I've ever gone. this to MrDylanNorth - first - I can't believe I'm even responding to this . but here we go. 1 - why did you detox off methadone cold ? 2 -all methadone programs I've been on will help you get off ( slowly & painlessly ) when the time is right. 3 - of course detox off methadone is much , much worse & harder. 4 - I'm well aware of drug use and misuse and abuse. So - I hope this clears thing up - a little bit - anyway. Good luck -

To get off heroin I thought methadone was the ultimate gateway to end my opiate addiction. I thought withdrawal was awful coming off heroin. METHADONE IS 1000x WORSE. Dude please don't make the same mistake I did, and detox off of that cold turkey. Ween yourself off to 10mg or so and try to stop. I wish I had.
