  • good job

  • classical people are so OVERLY CRITICAL

  • i also appreciate the soulfulness of your play. but i don't like the pedal play and the 'phat' play.... i prefer more "airy" (instead of "heavy" played) interpretations ;-)

  • Well... if there are no bad critics, you may have done wrong. ;)

I really like this interpretation. Bach is really your thing. I would agree, that you play his pieces different from intellectual guidelines, but this doesnt mean, its worse.

The opposite is true. It feels like you are deep into the partiture, trying to reveal some new facets which might be forgotten from others. For me its quite a new experience, to listen to your interpretation.

    Brava! :)

  • beautiful!! don't listen to that critic..let's listen to him play it then..loved your interpretation.."You may not have eshewed the conservatory intellectually", according to him...who cares, it is that kind of grandiose attitude that turns some people from classical music. Bravo!!

  • Beautiful, played with suitable emotional weight and feeling. Love it.

  • I really dislike the lack of weighted heirarchy in your phrases and your largely unvaried articulation.(You always play on the beat)I really miss that you have no accelerando whatsoever, when you've cultivated tenuti & rallentandi so carefully. What I do adore about you is that your playing is an all-out asssault on the heart and soul. You may not have eshewed the conservatory intellectually but you have elsewhere in your soul & that gives a thrilling quality to your play in spite of the lacks.
