err... see a treck through the rainforest is not like going through a zoo or a typical "park" experience...
You will come across animal life and i suppose you can touch em at your own risk :) these are wild animals so they will do justice to that and attack you if they feel like it :) However it's a very thick jungle with heavy undergrowth, not a lot of opportunities to get close to animals... You would see some fish, lotsa birds and few snakes and insects. For larger animals Yala is better

could someone please tell me more about sinharaja forest. i am 12 yrs old. i live in ksa. i go to srilanka once a year.but i have to convinvce my parents to take me to the rain forest so tell me the good parts about it.

if you search on google you would get some pretty good info... Wiki also have some info and links to other sites...
Good parts? little tricky cos that depends on what u want.
It's a primary rain forest with lotsa bird life, fish, snakes and flora. Undergrowth is thick so tough go off "routes"
