Viral videos happen when your video is being shared everywhere and it blows up to even millions of views in a day, few days, or even a week. RJared shares tips on how to potentially score a viral video, or even pretty big viewing video, through his observations.

You have to keep the video short, usually under 2 minutes but I would aim for no more than a maximum of 30 seconds. Most viral videos are so short and usually hilarious so you watch it again because it is soo funny, to show others, or even because the video went so fast that you missed something. Just image how many people actually watched the video and on top of that, how many times each individual person watched the video!

You can receive double, triple, quadruple or more views for your video than the actual amount of people that viewed it.There was a five second video that I seen in YouTube of a man kicking a soccer ball to the goal but it bounced of the post and smacked someone upside the head. That video blew up so fast in such a short amount of time that it became viral.

If you have a really short and funny video, is has high potential of becoming viral. Usually short viral videos are either shocking, funny, cute, or hard to see. A video that can be hard to see would be something like a UFO being caught on camera but it's a little bit blury and can cause specualtion when people are trying to decide if it's actually an alien or a roaming candle.

A really good way to push your video to becoming viral is to share it with blogs, websites, sharing it on social media sites, and even trying to get others to push the content for you by posting it. There is no big secret on how to get a viral video but a lot of help comes from making the link to your content available anywhere and everywhere on the web for people to access it even outside the YouTube community.
