Tyler Williams and Debbie Hyshka covering Harvest by Opeth- such an awesome song.

Tyler kicked ass and did all of the instruments, and audio mixing.
I just basically showed up and did vocals :D, also recorded the video.

And putting together all the visuals was a pain in the ass, so yes, his strumming isn't synched to the song, because I gave up.
But hey, you get the idea right? :)

Rarely do I see people who can capture the true essence of Opeth, be it vocally or instrumentally. I have seen so many mediocre Opeth covers, that I have to say my hopes weren't too high when I clicked this video. Needless to say, as soon as you opened your mouth and sang... it was like Heaven on the ears. I agree with the fellow below me; I'd like to hear more majestic female vocals such as yours being used in their songs. Congrats to you, keep it up! Metal chicks seem to be a rare breed!

your voice is VERY beautiful, I'd totally pay to see you in a stage, even if not singing metal or opeth-like ballads...

by the way, opeth is the best band I ever listened to... and I've listened to loads of bands and artists of different styles... and I'm not even the biggest fan of death metal, but akerfeldt measures heaviness, melody, progressiveness and darkness at the perfect scale.
