@Socialantithesis virtual analogue = computer synth, it sounds exactly like a VST only that it comes with a good soundcard that give it its own sound that can never sound as good as real analogue. think twice before spending your money on a virtual analogue synth.

you can get the soundcard that the nord lead is using and use it with your VST's, you will get the same sound.

same with the Virus ti2 that i own.

@djomercohen the output is part of the dirt and the sharpness of the lead, but you miss the heart of this, the algorithm written by the people from Clavia.... this is one of the best algo right in there in the Nord, everything is well written, OSCs, Filter, etc. And I did compare the Nord to VSTs that I used to love like Disco DSP Discovery and there is a huge difference.... the casual listener "so most of the public" will not notice, but I do it for myself, because I notice it :)
