You will not get a virus if you get the original published sheet from a reliable source such as INHarmony sheet music from Indiana, or UCB Libraries sheet music ("ragtime" collection), or Templeton Sheet Music.
Richard Zimmerman has republished all the public-domain works of Euday Bowman in his excellent "Gems of Texas Ragtime" folio.
Some of Euday Bowman's recordings are available on CDs from Document Records.

Did you originaly use sheet music to learn that? If so could you please tell me where to get it or give me a link. Last time I tried to get the music I got a Trojan virus (I know wierd) thanks, Avo. :)

Very, very nice arrangement!
This is the best version on youtube. Even though it is a personal arrangement, it is still the closest to the original. EVERYBODY (except one other guy) changes the song completely or plays it in double time.
That aside this is played PERFECTLY. The dynamics, crescendos, diminuendos are all perfect and everything is crisp and the tempo is just right. Amazing.
I Also really like how he changed the beginning, I think it's better where the octaves don't go all the way up the keyboard.

Clearly, the best version of 12th Street Rag on youtube. I've watched it 4 consecutive times and added it to faves. Your tempo is spot on, notes are crisp, your left hand octaves are perfect, and your right hand fingers dance the melody. Lot of talent going on there; well done JeanLuc. I look forward to viewing more of your videos. Any Joplin in your repertoire?
