This GMC bike is rigged for long range distance. There are 2 GMC bikes for The West Island Weather Station. WIWS provides special services for custom bikes needed for law enforcement and other emergency agencies.This bike has lightweight gear on board and can transport 30lbs 10 miles. The other rig is heavy duty with lots of gear on board and designed to transport 10lbs 30 miles nonstop. Both bikes have GPS and on board fore and aft camera capability. This is a military spec cycle, don't even think about riding this bike if you're not in shape.Training involves night time ops and riding in severe weather.Tubes are sealed so no flat tires. I also ride with steel toe Chippewas. it's a lot of extra weight but I have an ass of a twenty yr old. Total investment $3,000.per rig.(including gear on rider)
