Dear friends...
This is a nice song by Chet Atkins which I learned from Tommy Emmanuel. The guy singing next to me wrote croatian version which doesn't quite follow thoughts from the original. However, his lyrics come from his own life experience. Powerful..
Here is literal translation (the best I could do):


I remember my childhood,
and I turn back through all the years,
It really passed so quick..

I followed my heart and tasted many tastes,
I wanted NOW and EVERYTHING,
but it was all in vain.

Tears and sleepless nights,
mornings in despair,
heavy pain in chest...
