Yours was still earting just not what you fed her. If a cat stops eating it can lead to fatty liver disease which is fatal

Not necessarily. Once our cat wouldn't eat for days...I was just about to phone the pet doctor - when it turned out she was fed by the neighbor, a nice old lady without any family. All the cats of the neighborhood gathered at her place LOL.

This has always been one of my favorite commercials, made back when commercials were worth watching and were often more entertaining than the programs they sponsored! This ad was quite humorous, too!
