I disagree. Candy was an incredible wit... way beyond any of the other Warhol so-called 'superstars.' Yes, she was good looking, but she also had real style and a sense of wryness that only slightly comes out in some of the ways she was used in films. People who knew her described her as magical, not just because of how she 'passed' or looked, but because of her personality and clever way of expressing herself and striking presence. That goes way beyond looks.

@GallifreyanTARDIS Candy did see herself as a woman, but the definitions of words cannot be altered based on people's personal feelings or interpretations of those words. A person can also feel younger or older, or relate to another ethnicity, but these things can't be changed any more than gender can. I respect the right of people to regard themselves however they want, but expecting others to adopt their personal outlooks is naive. Definitions of reality exist for a reason.
