TRIGLAV 2864m - winter climbing in Slovenian Julian Alps

Four of us went hiking in February 2011 to Triglav in beautifull snow + sun conditions. It was a great experience. Me and another girl turned back 15 minutes before the peak, but other two managed to come to reach the top. We started in KRMA and walked 5 hours 25 minutes to the mountain hut TRIGLAVSKA KOCA NA KREDARICI, ate there and then walked up to the Triglav (1 hour up another hour down to the mountain hut). Slept in the hut and the next morning I skied a part of a trip and the second part walked. It took us 2 hours 40 minutes to come down.
