@Vintage772 another way, as we did on ours. is to just use an electric solenoid. so you just shift with a quick push of a button.

Question... I'm building a buggy with a 600cc street bike engine and the pattern is 1 down 5 up when your in first going to shift to second do you hit neutral first or does it shift right to second i know i kinda explained it horribly but hopefully you will understand because if your in first one up is neutral wouldn't it be?

very nice. looks like alot of fun. a few question, what diameter tube/ wall thickness did you use and is it 4130? anything you wish you had done differently?

really wanted to do a project like this for years. Can i ask how much not including the fancy stuff like powder coat, lights, etc. just the frame, suspension, engine, tranny, the basics.
does anyone know if the gear shifter is on the left or right ???

@Vintage772 shifter is on the left side of the engine and the shift handle is in the middle of the seats connected with a push pull cable...
