RBG SSTT argues that Afrikans in America are too isolated from each other, and that as a result many problems in African peoples lives are more frequently than not misunderstood as "personal," or as the results of conflicts between the personalities of individual Black and White people, rather than the systematic forms of oppression we are all subject to as a group. Thus, for our school, Raising Consciousness means helping oneself and helping others to become socio- politically conscious and culturally oriented. More specifically, RBG'z Consciousness Raising EduTainment process aimed to provide the learner with a better overstanding of "what is oppression and what is liberation" by bringing us together in a social education environment to discuss and analyze our lives as a collective (Nation within a Nation) ; without interference from the presence of outsiders.

The Rwandan massacre, the Sudanese Civil war & slavery there, resulted in millions dead from blacks killing blacks. All over the world, each race kills or enslaves its own or of others. Atonement comes from Jesus. The human condition is sinful..Bible says 'all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.' Jesus, who transcends race, came to save any who believe in him, free, and that freedom is focused on mental & spiritual freedom & freedom from hell. The gospel is good news for all.

There was a time when I would have been sympathetic to this portion of history and black people's plight but the Channon Chirstians, the Chirstopher Newsomes, the Laura Dickensons, the Tiffany Nicole Longs and the Wichita massacre victims of this country have taught me that this sympathy is misplaced. Aside from its beginning in the first place the most lamentable aspect of slavery was the half measures taken by whites at its end to reconcile this once and for all.
