  • his voice clearly sounds like baritone

  • @gert0174 Actually, it's an unwritten high B natural.

  • Awful.

  • You can hear the noticeable wobble in the voice, the lower pitch, the crooning....Mark needs to return to art songs---Schubert, Schumann, Fauré, even Von Williams....Like so many young classical singers, they go to the opera arias before they are ready....Operatic tenors have to develop and find they're niche. His coach (teacher) should know better....

  • eurgh... give him non piu andrai or something he might be able to manage because hes just murdered a that woman

  • A sweet, young 15 year old with a dream and a potentially stunning voice has been ruined

by promoters, managers and bad coaches. All right, he is really a baritone; someone should tell him that and get a grip on this young man. He has become smug, and almost insufferably phony with an I can do it all attitude that will destroy him within a couple of years.

  • He is not a tenor. Listen to other REAL tenors on YouTube. Their notes are higher. Why? They hit the real high C as they should. This gentleman needed the orchestra to transpone the whole ting down so that he could sing the aria. He is a mediocre barytone.

  • @LMaster1 It takes alot of power for a voice to sing these types of arias. Young singers are straining their Lyrnx (vocal chords) by doing this with an underdeveloped voice. Males alone don't fully develop their voice until around 38. Not saying they shouldn't sing those arias until 38, but 15 or 17 is way too young. Young performers should be working on technique ALL the time as should all singers, but most of all giving your voice time mature. It is ideal to perform Art Songs.

  • it's not original tone :S:S

  • @tyforjesus I hear this alot, and am just curious why younger singers in training shouldn't be singing arias like this? And if they aren't what are they working on; drills/technique/scales?
