Created by the "U of A Society For Creative Filmmaking". Won best technical/best cinematography at the FAVA 48 hour film festival in April.

This is the original cut of the movie that was submitted to the FAVA 48 hour film festival! Woo!

There were some odd restrictions placed on the movie as part of the challenge, such as the use of sepia, the flyswatter prop, and some of the more awkward lines you hear in the film.

Enjoy!

P.S. Yes, we know the title of the film is misspelled in the title sequence of the movie. That's my fault and I take all responsibility for it. ;)

  • Hey guys, glad you enjoyed the video so much. :D

I didn't do any of the editing or special effects on this one, but I do know that Tyler did use the "split screen effect" for when there are two of me on the screen at the same time.

  • This is fuckin amazing!

  • This film was sick!!! It seemed like it was going to be boring in the beginning. Then it got extra awesome. It shows how sometimes creative stories are way better than high definition shots and crazy angles. Inspiring.

I'm about to film this weekend.

    Thanks for the inspiration.

  • I've been pronouncing sepia wrong my entire life?!!! Thank you, fydo!

  • Did you use a green screen or split screen effect?

  • Everything is so... sepia...

  • That was fantastic Chris, you are my favorite actor

  • This is awesome Fydo!! Thank god you're not like this in real life... or maybe you are...

  • That's wicked-awesome, friend. I love your expressions when you're opening that book. And the part with the two yous was really well done. Nice working in that fly swatter too. Oh, and the focus when you notice the book in the first place... what kind of camera were you filming with?

    Great work.
