Oscar performer CoCo Lee dress up colorful Chanel gowns making interview in the Oscar red carpet.

"A Love Before Time" was the theme song from the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The song was nominated for Academy Award for Best Song in 2000. It was written by Jorge Calandrelli, Tan Dun (music), and James Schamus (lyrics) It was performed by Coco Lee, who also performed the song live at the Academy Award ceremony in 2001. The Chinese language version of the song is called 月光爱人 (Simplified Chinese) Yuè Guāng Ài Rén (Moonlight Lover).

The 73rd Academy Awards honored the best films of 2000 and was held on March 25, 2001. It was the last Academy Awards to take place at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium. It was hosted by first-time host Steve Martin, who was nominated for an Emmy Award for his presentation.

Notable films included Gladiator, which received 12 nominations and 5 awards, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which received 10 nominations and 4 awards. As well as Traffic which had 5 nominations and won 4 of them.

  • @nongquoqviet That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Hongkese? What on earth is a Hongkese. If you mean like Hong Kongnese or Hong Kong Ren I could understand it, but Hongkese? And besides that - being from Hong Kong doesn't make you less Chinese. Hong Kong is a part of China, you idiot. People from Hong Kong don't have a Hong Kong ethnicity or whatsoever, but are mostly like in Mainland China Han-Chinese, and qua nationality thry stay Chinese.
