There's nothing like getting in your Subie after a stressful day and taking her out at night with all windows down, heat cranked, and dancing with the peddles and gearshift. There's no other sound in the world like the boxer engine, so that alone is exhilarating and completes the thrill. Driving my Subaru is more powerful then any drug and I hope other people feel the same way. Keep all the positive comments coming guys!

Why do I drive an STi? Because I like to pretend I'm a race car driver, even if I'm just running to the gas station to get a pack of smokes.

@Reynolds773 i bought a dealer license and put some money together with a friend and we bought salvaged cars, sold the parts and used that money to buy the best car on earth
-
@shizzel122 How did you get the money for that? I'm trying to save for an 02 and am having trouble...

Evo lost aw poor evo. Subaru FTW
-
@ellisfreedman i bought my self a 07 wrx when i was 19 and its the best car i have ever owned, insured, and of course i am always careful
-
Best decision I have ever made was trading in my Sti for an Evo 9 mr. Evo ftw
-
I love the sti but I have to admit the evo ix mr is pretty sick.

You can't make a bad Subaru video...Period!!

@Diamondsarekewl If you want the safety without the stupidity, get them either an RS, Legacy or Outback. They have enough power to be happy with, are dependable, and have an AWD system that will bring them home in the worst of conditions (even driver caused).
If you're willing to get them a v8 Mustang, then the STi isn't a bad deal. Just be ready for a call either from them or about them.

@Diamondsarekewl I wish my parents bought me an STI for my first car :(
I re-uploaded my newer Suby video because YouTube froze the view count for some reason so I would appreciate it if you all could watch and 'like' it so I can get the views up and going again. I feel weird advertising on my own video but I need for this to happen haha. Thanks guys, and keep driving.

okay this might be a stupid question...but is it abad idea to get an sti for a teenagers 1st car?

@Diamondsarekewl Yes & no. If the parent is ok with getting their kid a car like that the STI/WRX is the 'safest' bet. In high school I got my 06' because it had a better crash test rating the Audi S4, EVO MR & Volvo S60R. it's AWD makes the car 'safer' then a RWD Mustang Cobra. But yes, even if the kid has self control and isn't an idiot, the STI is still a dangerous car for a high schooler. It is also the highest to insure out of all the other cars in its class because of the accident rates.

@Diamondsarekewl This is coming from someone who got his at an early age after driving a SAAB 9-3 beforehand. All the other older Subaru guys would probably tell you that buying a kid a WRX/STI for his first car is the worst idea in the world. The design of the new Impreza doesn't scream 'speed now, all the time', unlike the old one. It felt more refined when driving the new one and more mature, which ultimately leads to a more reserved but still aggressive driving style I decided.
