From the day of birth to when she came home. We spent 90 days in the nicu and went through surgery for an intestinal blockage called jejunal atresia. She is my little baby miracle!
My daughter was born 6 weeks early, and also had surgery for Jejunal Atresia. She was not to make it, and sadly she passed away a day later. Of course, this was over 12 years ago when very little was known about Jejunal Atresia. I'm so thankful that your little one made it and what a trooper she is!
congrats on having your lil one home i also have a 26 weeker he just turned one on the 16th of sept. he weighted 1lb 10oz 11 in and is now 18 lbs 28in .....we spent 99 days in the nicu . ....well congrats take lots of pics and video they progress really really fast . i have a montage of my son also on my page
Hi! You just commented on my video about my 26 week baby which led me to your video.I cried the entire 7 minutes. You're right, our stories are very similar. Your baby is beautiful and each step of your journey I could relate like not to many people can. I was so excited to see you enjoying kangaroo care as I am a huge advocate for that special time. Some hospitals still dont allow moms to kangaroo their babies at such a small size.I am so happy that God has blessed your family as he has mine!
I am a follower on caringbridge, that video made me tear up, All of you havecame along way... She is beauitful, and a little fighter. Oh and I love the bowes
i was glued all the way....she is indeed a most precious little darling...my salute to the brave parents...cant imagine how you guys went trhough all this. being a new mom of a 3 mo old
hope she is well

What a sweet, beautiful little possum.
I am 27 weeks pregnant - and am grateful for every day my daughter stays in my belly.
It's amazing to put into perspective what she would look like.
Well done for being strong - your daughter is just gorgeous
