A Trip to Paramount Pictures and Hollywood (2006)

The highlights of the Paramount Studio guided tour. This is the only major motion picture studio still operating in Hollywood. All of the other big names moved to the San Frenando Valley over in Culver City and Burbank years ago! Paramount it what is left of what used to be the old RKO, later Desilu Studios. A very active Hollywood Studio still thrives today. Rich in movie and television history such as Citizen Cane, Star Trek, Happy Days, My Three Sons, and this list goes one. This was also the home of the TV Western backlot used in many classics such as "Virginia City" on Bonanza.

The tour is what it is, photography is somewhat restricted to exterior and backlot sets. We did get to see the studio set of the TV show "George Lopez", "Dr. Phil" and "America's Got Talent" but not photographs were allowed in there.
