I went past here one day when it was being torn down and they had the entire building down except for the front door. The front door was standing in the middle of nowhere. But still the last 2 times i went there the service was incredibly bad. We were probably 1 of 3 tables in there but the time it took to get the food you would think the place was packed.

The last time I was there was in January. And I was there around 12:30pm during the week and the place was empty, that's lunch time and they should have been busy.

In orange county, I know of three Denny's locations that have closed. Two locations have been in business since the early seventies. Is the company downsizing in certain regions? Does anyone have any information?

Spot on about the chains leaving. It makes their chain name look poor to bail, and especially along a busy road such as US 19. I was in that area yesterday and there are numerous closed businesses.
