On February 19, 2010 His Holiness the Dalai Lama received the Democracy Service Medal at the United States Library of Congress. The medal is awarded annually by the National Endowment for Democracy, and was first presented to the former President of Poland and founder of the Polish "Solidarity" movement, Lech Walesa in 1999.

His Holiness spoke for just under 30 minutes and then answered questions for about the same duration. There are six videos in this set.
