Once we arrived back to Juniper, we stripped off our clothes, put on our sleeping attire, and went back to bed for couple of hours. As our family, as a whole, got ready for a new day, we got ready to go to Johnston Canyon. But before we do that, we decided to get some breakfast. And that was when we discovered that our dad left this credit card at the Suginoya restaurant. After making a quick detour to retrieve the credit card, we drove on Bow Valley Parkway (again) and encountered a pair of elks this time! In the video, I said caribous, but whatever. Elks have gigantic racks of antler. They seem very quiet, but apparently around September, they get all crazy with their hormones so it's best to stay in your car during that time. They show up more during winter, but nowadays, the can be seen year-round grazing.
