  • @angelo212 There is good, and bad chiropractic The U,C,S, only is good chiropractic. Diversified is bad twisting the neck right, and left with a quick jerk at the end of the movement, and manipulating the spine up, and down the back popping the discs pushing in between the sholderblades hips etc doing what is known as cavitation is bad. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Atlas Orthogonal; Grostic, NUCCA, light toggle recoil are good techniques. I can teach you more.

  • angelo212, sorry to hear you feel all chiropractic doctors are con artists. You didn't discuss how you feel about chiropractic doctors correcting vertebral subluxations (misalignments) allowing the proper conduction of nerve flow to the brain and back to the body, about increasing function and performance of the spine and muscles and pain relieving effects too? We've seen plenty of medical doctor and dentist practice builders "hawking" and plenty of MD's hanging with pharmaceutical reps?

  • No thanks. I avoid them like the con artist they are.Leaf through a few chiropractic publications, and you'll find practice builders hawking "detailed steps to the $40,000-per-month practice," and plans for boosting patient volume by 450 visits a month, or to more than 350 a day. Hundreds of practitioners subscribe to such programs. To help them sustain the money making momentum, some practice building firms actualy hold meetings to give their clients awards based on incresed practice profits.

  • angelo212, all insurance s pay for chiropractic care. Go to another chiropractic doctor!

  • Not all Chiropractors are created equal. I'm sorry that you weren't helped by the Chiropractor you went too. That's not the rest of our faults.

Insurance does pay for Chiropractic. Their studies even show that patients with whiplashes return to work 7X faster at a third of the cost.

    I hope you get better.

  • Your so full of shi%. You know I just got done going to a Chiro (car accident lawsuit) 7 months 3 days a week. I go in lay down he crack my back I leave. 30 seconds I was there 3 days a week. Did nothing. No wonder insurance Co. don't pay for it. There was a room full of people waiting for the same thing. To get there back cracked for there lawsuit. We all talk about how a crock of shi% it was and it helped no one.

  • I'm a Chiropractor of 10 years and also third generation Dr. I have seen healing happen under Chiropractic care for 33 years of my life that would baffle even the best MD. When it all boils down to it, when I adjust someone, they get better, no matter what their problem is or diagnosed. If the brain cannot send proper function to an organ or tissue, that organ or tissue will malfunction and cause a problem.

Some people won't even give Chiropractic a chance, But then again, it's their loss!

  • i find it sad that people bring down chiropractic when they themselves have no understanding or experience as to what chiropractic is. having an opinion without knowledge is termed ignorance. you are just digging your own profession into a deeper hole. the body knows how to heal itself, it is intelligent and beautifully constructed. chiropractic supports that scientific fact, medicine ignores it. following that?

  • You got the whole God damn internet in front of you and your asking me for proof to your questions? You God damn idiot.

  • And where I can I find the scientific evidence that a spinal fusion or gastric band surgery are safe and effective treatments with 100% reliability? Can you show me where the scientific proof is for drugs like Prozac, Vioxx, Celebrex, Vicodin, or Percocet? Throwing stones when you live in a glass house can be dangerous. Be careful what you judge as quackery when you don't have a whole lot of ground to stand on.
