I cannot believe there's even a debate on who should have won the title here. Really? Kristi skates the performance of her life to terrific choreography, while Nancy struggles through and has to throw in jumps to stay competitive? In what way does that makes Nancy better? If anything, Kristi's marks are too low to reflect the quality of the program. She should have been littering the sheet with 5.9's but didn't because she skated first.

@theobosking Are you kidding? Double flip, weak landing on triple toe so she couldn't do the combination , double lutz....no way should she have beat Kristi, who skated her cleanest long program of her career at 92 nationals.

She always did stupid dance moves like she did at the 1:40 mark in her performances. She did something like that in the 94 olympics and its just so embarrassing to me. -_-

Choreography in the middle section was hilarious, very 80s. She looked stupid in that section. LOL. Not a bad performance overall though.

@3Axel1996 The music during the footwork is "siesta" by miles davis

@ja3399 "Remote" I've heard that said before of Nancy's skating. I don't quite understand what is meant by it. I guess it has to do with not connecting to the audience or the like? She has a regal quality about her skating. The way she carries herself is very different from any other skater of her time, and it's so attractive that I don't see it being negated by any remoteness.

@MissFit29 Minor mistakes, the rest was just exquisite.
I really have to go with Kristi here. But both girls were so good. I remember this program well, and think that Nancy's dress is exquisite. Doesn't she look lovely? Remote though, which is too bad. Can anybody tell me what her music is here?

@ja3399 Skating outfit by Vera Wang. Most of the music is from the motion picture soundtrack to "Born on the 4th of July" by John Williams. Not sure who's music she used for the circular footwork into triple Salchow section...
