As much as I think this is not perfect, at least these guys are doing an Ernest day living. I can see some of the correction that are all needed, but for Pete's sick why should people be so sarcastic, why not just mention the errors.I once went through an electrical apprenticeship (5yrs), and could take it no longer, this is the same attitude exhibited by a lot of guys in the field towards one another always critical and not supportive. I left to become an engineer an i have no regret

wow no fall equiptment---
-
wow.. so much hate from people who obviously are either competitors or don't actually do this for a living.

@baikoff I've seen some osha offices use media clips and what not to substantiate cases in court... and win their cases....
might be a good idea to remove the video.

It's strange nobody even mentioned the complete violation of OSHA fall protection requirements. I would not advertise my business with this video. I wonder if a business could get fined for having a video like this on YouTube if an inspector sees it.
Remember, guys - if you are working 6' of more above ground you MUST use a fall protection equipment.

you sure can tell that this was filmed quite a while ago. thank goodness that we have come such a long way since then. one thing i do know is that there were such things as power saws back then yet they cut rails by hand. glad i don't work there. wow, the old days of wiring each indiviual mod...yuck.

Not only is the crew bunk, the video editing is bunk as well.

How efficient is this system, because its been install under shade conditions.
What a gay video by the biggest bunch of amatures on the planet. it's sad that just about anybody can go and be a solar electric company.

wow, this video was done 8 years ago now. Maybe you should take a deep breath and look at the crew that has done over 2000 installs since then. Yep, anybody can be in the solar business and we encourage nice people to join the revolution. Please feel free to comment on our other solar installation videos. I'm sure you'll find some good and some...
Take care! have fun and go solar.

it shows the work was not done by profesionals, I dont see any DC grounding rod to be connected to the INverter which is a must, secondly all the information written on the equipment and conduit it should be written on on stickers with red background and white color letering 5/8 inches height, not written by just ordinary felt pen . poor work from ABCsolar, it is shame

Get a grip;. Lettering? This system was done in 2001. This was before the sticker fetish became a requirement. Now we have Alice's Restaurant stickers and color glossy photos pointing with large letters...... Get a grip! I'm glad you can't see the grounding rod, sorry I missed that detailed picture for you. Code says we can ground house grounding system. Since you don't appear to know, Inverters will not turn on unless they are grounded. This is a great install by a great crew.

I enjoyed watching your video, however, at the last seconds of video , it showed that there are two sets of arrays are installed on the roof, where the amount of sunradiation will be different for each array during the day at same time, therefore you can not connect to sets of different arrays with different orientation to only one inverter, becasue theeir out put voltage will not match at same time. I could not see there two set of Inverter to be installed.

This is incorrect thinking. The Sunnyboy inverter works fine with equal string sizes on different roof surfaces. Check with SMA if you don't believe me. I'm glad I'm the professional here.
