churumuri.com video of how a grand old bungalow next to where the late Indian president S. Radhakrishnan lived in Mysore is being demolished to accommodate a monstrosity. The absence of a Heritage Policy and a mad urge to develop Mysore as a tier-2 city is allowing developers to run riot.
i absolutely agree, this brutality is happening everywhere in India,I think the judiciary can definitely do something, very heartbreaking to see this drama of greed and corruption unfold.

We all know these kinds of things are happening to our Mysore. But a good effort to show it to the outside world and create awareness. Great work.
The question is what next? Will this have any impact?

If there are sites that represent the heritage of the city and it is worth keeping then there should be people inside the local government who make sure that it is protected. But in this materialistic society, if there is nothing to gain financially then the chances of anything happening is slim

Mysore is the best city in all of India. I hope they don't ruin the place like they did Bangalore with all the traffic and congestion.
