@chriskindle I think he had a good idea for what he wanted to do but I think really the problem was that he couldn't get an experienced team together (which is one of the reasons the game was pushed back multiple times).

Watching all of this in one sitting so far. My brain hurts. What was Romero thinking? I cannot believe that he is responsible for Doom, even partially. Maybe the rest of his programming team is to blame?
