Foxfield Bank at the Summer Gala 2011

During the "Summer" gala in the pouring rain we see several runs up Foxfield bank out of the colliery. At least in the wet the displays of steam were more impressive than usual for this time of year. The gradient out of the colliery ranges from 1 in 28 to 1 in 21 at its steepest on the sharp bend out of the sidings.
