I would personally call this 'soft' metal. If there's soft rock and hard rock and just rock, why can't you do the same with metal? This is metal that introduces a mellower feel into it, and doesn't try to be aggressive, yet wants to carry over the heavy feeling that metal has. And this cover does so amazingly. I love metal myself, and I listen to anything as hard as Torsofuck to shit as soft as Escape the Fate's harder shit. Regardless, great song. But Gary Jules I like more. :p

Ummm.....Metal started out with people SINGING, as I recall.

But singing with balls, singing with strength and power, not singing like a pre-pubescant, sexually confused boy scout that has issues with the world and cries about it at night.

That's what this sounds like. So, ergo, not Metal. Metal is a form of music that has a proud culture, who stand by it, behind it, and in front of it when it needs defending. Get your shit straight and fly right if you think this is Metal dude.
