They do this every hour for about 10 hours, and just watching the video makes me want to go back right now. The video starts out choppy as I find a better spot. There is also one point where it goes black. I was trying to zoom in to capture the smoke rings. You can see in the water the lights because they light up the water that shoots up. So it's not just a strip of fountains, they actually shoot up around in circles too.
To give an idea of the height, the flag pole in the back is about the size that is in most people yard. The water was shooting twice that high at some points. You could also feel the heat from the flames as if you were standing fairly close to a bonfire. The video does not even begin to do it justice, so if you're in the area; it's a must see!
The Landing is also a very pretty shopping strip that I wish we had found before it started shutting down for the evening. We walked down the strip and you don't even need to step foot into a store, but it's relaxing and nice.
About the fountain
http://www.bransonlanding.com/fountains.html
"I know it did include about $7.5 million for the grand fountain attraction located along the lake shore about in the middle of the Landing. There was a fair amount of controversy about the high cost of the fountain but it is up and running and giving millions of folks a few minutes of leisure as they watch the fully computerized water and light show of the fountain. It starts at a preset interval and goes through a routine much like a tumbling act. It is especially beautiful after dark when the light show accentuates the rhythmic water show. It plays music then does a routine to the rhythem of the music. " (http://www.branson-ozark-mountain-country.com/BransonLanding.html)
