ALERT!! During the performance of "24 Hours of Lovin" (sung so wonderfully by Stacie Caulkins) several of the Texas Church Ladies were seen to have been behaving badly. Shamefully even. Where's Melvin P. Thorpe when you really need him? And who is that little waitress that bobs in and out?? Lord have mercy on our souls!!!

If you ever have a chance to do it in person... hearing/seeing Stacie Calkins sing is unbelievable. She's got a set of pipes on her!

Jewel (Stacie Calkins) is absolutely fabulous. We had an awards ceremony today and she sang from Dreamgirls (incidentally staged prior to the movie) and I think she was better than the movie!! I don't have any other video right now, but have ordered a tape of the show. Maybe if there's a way to share that I will - thanks for the comment!
