ASL Vlog 3

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda Jay. This is my third Vlog. I have furniture now! Want to see? That was my living room. Now, my dining room. Its nice. All this furniture was my grandmothers. I have a new kitty too. His name is Loki. My kitty Loki! I didn't change my hair! See, it's the same. I need a color though. See my roots? Anyways. I tihnk my hair grew since my last Vlog. It's been a long time since my last Vlog, I'm sorry! Oh hey, I have internet now! If I put my computer right next to the window and stand in front of it, I have internet. Thats all. If I move, its gone. Stupid, but it's free. Remember when I told you about my internship a long time ago? Well, they are giving me no hours. So, I go to all these Deaf events that are really fun. I learn more at the events than in my internship. I meet many Deaf people and get to practice my ASL. I've been looking everywhere for a job but found nothing. Everywhere I go and ask about a job is full. Restaurants are always full! School is finished in two weeks, I'm really happy. Summer is fun, I can go to the beach, go party, and have no school! I hope work, though. *Sigh* Saterday I have a Deaf lunch to go to with my friend Sarah so we can practice ASL more because we NEED more ASL practice. I live close to Manchester and its so fun because I walk down there every day and people-watch and everything. And I take pictures since I'm a photographer. In ASL class yesterday we learned about cops pulling people over. And its funny because Friday night, I got pulled over! Haha. Well, I'm going to go do my homework now, thank you for watching me, have a nice day!

I am actually Hearing, but I have such a love for the language of ASL that I want to be an interpreter some day. Making these journals in ASL help me develope my skills. And you are correct, it is Miss. :-)

Going from SEE to ASL takes a lot of time and practice. It'll become natural over time, just keep doing what you do

Damn, girl! I wish my hearing girlfriend could sign as well as you. I am damn proud of you! Even your semi-absence of lip movements is convincing that you know how to sign very well. Your body language is very present too.

Wow you sign language is amazing! But one tiniest error is the letter "r" is backward. *LOL*.
