Angela POV
Kelsey and Amy came into my room. I rolled my eyes.
Amy: Umm Im going to the Jonass house for dinner so I wont be around.
Angela: like I care.
Amy walked out with hurt in her eyes. I felt guilty but it passed quickly.
Kelsey: Well Im going to dinner with Joe tonight, and Collin and James are going out.
Angela: oh. Well uh, have fun.
Kelsey: you too.
She walked out of my room and I sat on my bed feeling sick to my stomach. I ran to the bathroom and puked. Tonight would be fun.
About 2 hours later I went downstairs to see everyone gone. Well everyone except my mom and dad. Well step-dad. My real dad lives in Utah. Another reason I didnt want to leave. I hate my step dad Steve.
Steve: Martha, didnt we tell Angela she wasnt allowed to have pink in her hair?
Martha: I believe youre right.
Angela: you know I can hear you right?
Steve: What did you say? Are you back talking me?
Angela: n-no.
He came over and slapped me. my mom turned her head and went into the other room. She always does this. And he does this a lot too. No one knows but me, him and my mom. Thats right. My stepdad beats me.
Steve: You will not backtalk me or your mother.
Angela: o-ok.
Steve kicked me and I fell to the ground. Why me? Why did Kelsey have to go? Or even Amy. This wouldnt happen.
Steve: Youre a failure to this family. Why cant you be like Amy? Shes got a lot more ahead of her than you do.
I cried and stayed on the ground. I didnt dare look at him.
Steve: Look at me when I talk to you!
He grabbed my arm and pulled me up and threw me into the wall.
Steve: Go to your room. No dinner for you tonight.
I was happy. I didnt want to be around him. Everytime that people left the house, Steve beat me. It happens everytime. He asks why I cant be more like Amy, my mom wishes I was never born. Well thats how I feel. She doesnt do anything to stop it. Some mom she is. I cried and sat on my bed. I put my hand up to my stomach. It hurt really bad. I hope Im ok.
Kelsey POV
Joe picked me up and took me to this little diner not too far away.
Joe: So where did you move from?
Kelsey: Utah.
Joe: oh cool.
Kelsey: yeah. I loved it there.
The dinner went well and me and Joe really clicked. We decided to go to the park afterwards and just enjoyed each others company. It was good to have a friend down here. When we were done he dropped me off at my house and I walked in to see my mom and step dad talking in a hushed whisper.
Steve: oh hey sweetie.
Kelsey: hey.
Mom: how was your date?
Kelsey: it wasnt a date. Just a friend dinner. Joes a good friend.
Steve: I dont know if its so good of you to hang out with someone famous.
Kelsey: Dad hes not like that though. He is really down to earth and such a sweetheart.
Mom: are you sure you dont like him?
Kelsey: Mom!
Steve laughed.
Steve: alright go upstairs. I have some stuff I need to talk to your mom about.
Kelsey: alright.
I went upstairs to hear Angela crying. I opened her door and she looked up startled and Scared?
Angela: oh good youre home. Uh there is something I need to tell you.
Angela POV
When Kelsey walked in my room I was relieved. I was scared that it was Steve at first but it was Kelsey. I had to tell her. Not about Steve beating me, she would never believe me, but there was something else. Something that is going to change my life.
Angela: Oh good youre home. Uh there is something I need to tell you.
Kelsey closed the door and sat on my bed.
Kelsey: whats wrong?
Angela: this isnt easy for me to say, but Kelsey, Im pregnant. With Prestons baby.
Kelsey: What?!
Angela: I know, I was stupid and careless. It was that one party that I came home drunk, I didnt know what I was doing. Kelsey what am I going to do?
She wrapped her arms around me and I cried.
Kelsey: you have to tell mom and steve.
Angela; NO! I mean, not yet at least. I need some time to figure things out.
Kelsey: ok. Well Ill help you, youre my sister and I would do anything for you alright?
Angela: Thanks. Ill see you in the morning.
Kelsey: ok. Goodnight.
She walked out of my room and I was grateful for her. Now I felt bad for the times I was so bitter towards her. I sat on my bed and cried. Why me?

Awesome! Drama...kinda! When I think of Steve I think of that Blues Clues guy and I imagine him being the step dad and hitting angela...weird and random...lol
