  • @Noemovies I don't know where you live but anywhere I've fished the big 1+ lb bluegill always seem to be more of a fight with ultralight than big bass. They're much quicker. Not bein rude just stating my opinion. Have had some good bass fights too. But pound for pound bluegill fight great

  • I don't really catch bluegill except at minnesota. I like to catch largemouth bass or baby bass. they are really fun.

  • he should go for the channel catfish that would be a better experiecne for the kids. blue gill are alright but they dont give any fight
