@andystruth Yes indeed. The good thing about the French version, originally composed for the St-John the Baptist day, is that it is so anachronistic and politically incorrect that you would have to rewrite it 100%. Quebeckers and other French Canadians would go nuts.
But the English version, all the PCs want to keep emusculating it.... leave it alone. "Native land"=> not fair to immigrants, "sons of" not fair to women. Leave it alone!

@trybal007 It's actually God's land, ALL OF US are just allowed to live on it for a while, countries are an illusion, ownership of land is an illusion, the queen claims all of the land, it's not hers. She lies to us all and makes us believe that with the use of her tricks and worshippers.
